Rhea Sawhorn was inspired by her father and grandma to learn about drawing and painting. Although she was still interested in the visual arts she had an increasing passion for films and theater and secretly desired to be a professional actor. Not knowing how to go about pursuing this career, she was lucky enough to discover contemporary theatre at college. She also learned that acting classes were available. However, she was reluctant to take the plunge - not certain if it was the best path to follow in the future. As she was still at college, her father passed away, leaving her with the advice that she should take on whatever she would like to accomplish in her life.
